The Luna Tourist

So, first things first, this is a blog about me touring the world in the eyes of a young tourist. The name of this blog doesn't necessarily mean that I only travel at night because that would be stupid. Anyway, lets get down to business. I will try (and probably fail) to write everyday but DO NOT count on it (though I doubt anyone will come to my blog everyday but it's nice to have hopes). Enjoy and live through my strange, but amazing adventures.

July 15th, 2011 More Walking, Nintendo 3DS, Food, and Smiggle

Today, my mom, my brother, and I went to Northland Mall where we ate delicious sushi and teriyaki chicken bowls. After that, we went to this bookstore where we bought an awesome purple pencil pouch that (if you unzip it all away) becomes one long zipper thing. It's awesome but not the most practical thing in the world. Mine does't exactly like the one in the picture but it's close enough.
an eraser, a mechanical pencil, and this filer. After that, we ventures into this awesome store called Smiggle which is a huge store devoted to school supplies and (desk) organizers. Here, we bought four pens. I really, really wish that we had stores like this back in the U.S.A. but sadly, they don't.
Once we bought the pens, we went to this store called Dick Smith's which is exactly like Best Buy but smaller. Here, I tried out the amazing Nintendo 3DS. This device was really awesome since it was actually 3D but it didn't make you dizzy. It's like an improved Wii!!
After that, we met up with my dad and ate dinner at this restaurant named Little India. This place was great but was in relatively small portions. The location:
38A Merivale Mall
Christchurch 8146, New Zealand
When we finished eating, we began walking instead of taking the bus like I wished we did. Also, we have never been to this part of Christchurch before so we had to keep studying the map after making some wrong turns. Not only that, we had to walk on these suspicious, scary, and dark roads! Eventually, we did get to our hotel but by then, my feet were killing me and my arms were tired from holding a bag. G'night!
